Laggy Live Feed

All,

Just got Tello drone for son and live video feed is really laggy. So much so that it's too difficult to fly indoors. After a raft of research & testing I pretty much got it down to Android. In short the iPad works fine but a really up to date Samsung phone causes lag in the feed.

Lag happens on two different apps so I'm certain its something to do with Android.

Any ideas?

It's laggy on both the official Tello app and the FPV one. I've changed bit rate and iframe settings with no improvement.

Any recent Samsung should be more than powerful enough.

One thing to try is ariplane mode:
Activate flight / airplane mode on the phone. Then re-enable _only_ wifi. Connect to the drone's wifi & start the app.


If that doesn't help there is not much you can do unless you are willing to dig very deep into the system and/or format the phone and start from scratch.
If you purchased the TelloFpv full version recently and can't make it work then I have no problem to refund. Just drop me an email stating the google account email and the GPA number of the purchase.
