I've already found it helpful! I looked at the compatible phones thread before purchase :) Even though my HTC M9 wasn't specifically mentioned, I saw that the Samsung Galaxy s5 was listed by dji and the M9 is a higher specc'd phone so thought I'd be OK. I will add it to the thread once I test it...- AlloTello!

Hi all, just bought the Tello and expansion pack. Using an HTC M9 (bought especially to use the tello). So far so good as far as connection goes and very quick test flight of less than a minute due to wind/people. Had the overheating shutdown as I had it sitting on a bench testing for on phone...- AlloTello!
