    I honestly hope you’re being sarcastic in your response (I truly can’t tell)......if not #howmucharetheypayingyou ?

Flying Tello at 20kph wind at Night - Bad idea!

I have a SYMA x21w I fly at nite. Come to think about it I don’t think I’ve ever flown it the day.....don’t even know what the cam is like on it ?. It’s a good nite flyer with bright leds to aid in orientation. Batteries are cheap too. I had to get something to fill the crave during the nite...

    Wired Tello controller for iOS?

Just a heads up......you get the same lag and frame drops as u would even with the phone in vr goggles. The experience is less than spectacular. U possibly would be better off adding a 5.8ghz fpv cam on the fuselage and running goggles to utilize the freq. -M

Flying Tello at 20kph wind at Night - Bad idea!

High Wind+Nite Flying= ur result with the Tello The rare times I take a nite flight, i don’t take it higher than 8 or 9 ft. Doing this the VPS *might* see something (there is a streetlight in the vicinity). If u add wind and height to the equation bad things may happen. Glad yours is safe. I...

    30 metre high club....Post your photos :)

Ive been so tempted, especially seeing there is one a block from my home, yet the looming fear of reckless endangerment stops me. Your words further cemented this course of action in my brain so thank you ? -M

Do many of you have a Tello along with a larger drone?

No larger drone here.....and the larger one won’t be much bigger than the Tello lol (spark) I use a Syma x21w as my nite/house flyer. I also have a Tello specially for indoor use also. -M

DJI Tello range test - 450 meters

Good point add “when advising others” after the word “hobby”. Meaning most of us found out about the use of the repeater researching on the net, found a slew of videos on yt......yet everyone has the repeater directly in front of them or on their person while reviewing. Rather odd no? Especially...

DJI Tello range test - 450 meters

This. Too many people use a “repeater “ wrong in this hobby. Insight would be greatly appreciated -M

Gimme some light so I can fly at night

I wanted to follow up my answer slightly. The times this occurred I was using the onscreen controls with an iPhone 8. The response on screen was “glitchy”. I just took out the Tello with the T1D and could fly it around. This was with the “VPS unavailable” warning on screen. Only issue I noticed...

Beautiful shots!!!!! I could just imagine how clean the air was -M

Gimme some light so I can fly at night

For nite use I would say yes. The tech that makes the Tello what it is at the price point will have limitations.....heck my wife assisted the gust of wind distracting me while trying to bring #3 back. It’s in my cousins tree now (Sending my crew to grab it tomorrow). Saying all that to say, the...

Gimme some light so I can fly at night

I get loss of control laterally. I know Tellos can’t handle low light or reflective surfaces. I’ve never ventured to high vertically in low light conditions due to potential flyaway risks. -M
