WIFI+S Range Extender vs Xiami WIFI Repeater and Tello Channel choice

I didn't have any problems like that with Pix-Link, it sometimes has trouble connecting, but reconnecting is quite fast (a few seconds) and reliable even when I was trying to break the connection. My Tello derped out on me a few times at low range (like falling out of the sky), but I didn't...

WIFI+S Range Extender vs Xiami WIFI Repeater and Tello Channel choice

I understood that @Mrstacey bought it from there, that's why I thought it is legit. I haven't ordered from there, it may or may not be a scam. Sorry.

WIFI+S Range Extender vs Xiami WIFI Repeater and Tello Channel choice

I think the consensus is that the WIFI + is the best of them all, and you can still buy it here, in this Spanish store. If you want to buy form a better known place, I'd suggest buying either Xiaomi or Pix-Link, which is cheaper. There hasn't been a direct comparision, Xiaomi works great for...

WIFI+S Range Extender vs Xiami WIFI Repeater and Tello Channel choice

Did you use this one or the WiFi+S everyone here is talking about? I bought this thinking this is the same as the WiFi+S, but it has different UI, and you cannot choose channel, so if it pairs chooses I can get almost 150m, but if it doesn't it looses conection at 50m and the video stutters even...

WIFI+S Range Extender vs Xiami WIFI Repeater and Tello Channel choice

Do you think replacing antenna would help the range, or is it the amplification that is the limiting factor? Pix-Link extender is quite disappointing. On another note, it's software doesn't let you choose channel, it sticks with what it picked during pairing, and doesn't adjust to background...

WIFI+S Range Extender vs Xiami WIFI Repeater and Tello Channel choice

After some test flights could you write how does the range compare to the WiFi+? I can get to 100m in a city with many networks nearby, which is 3x better than before, but I don't know if I'd get more with the WiFi+

WIFI+S Range Extender vs Xiami WIFI Repeater and Tello Channel choice

I do not have a password set for Tello, nor do I have one for the repeater. The order I use is Repeater, Tello, phone WiFi, app. Maybe try resetting repeater and starting from scratch?

WIFI+S Range Extender vs Xiami WIFI Repeater and Tello Channel choice

@PuWo I have this exact model, and I also have trouble connecting. The solution for me is simple, turn on the repeater first, and after a while the Tello. I have only set it up to repeat Tello's signal, no other settings touched.

WIFI+S Range Extender vs Xiami WIFI Repeater and Tello Channel choice

Turns out I bought the wrong model and it isn't the same as the WiFi+S, it has worse UI and range Just a heads up, I just received mine from Aliexpress, and it works. There even is an official PIX-Link store, which sells for a bit more money. Just before you buy from Aliexpress make sure to...

Tello behaves very bad when using official SDK

My app is currently using official SDK and I have encountered none of those problems. Only difference (to Low-Level api in non-fast mode) I encountered is that it maintains constant height above the ground and not absolute altitude. Otherwise there is nothing wrong with it. Probably the Tello is...

VitaTello, a PS Vita app - advice appreciated!

Thank you, just be aware that right now this app uses official Tello API, and not reverse engineered of the official tello app. This means that Tello behaves a bit differently: it keeps constant height over ground and not absolute height (now if you start at the bottom of a hill 1m above the...

    Suggest RC simulator

Not knowing what you really want, I recommend trying Leo's RC Simulator available for Android and PC. It's free and simple, originated in very early Android days, but I've spent many hours in it, and it had developed my flying skills immensely. Oh, and it is for planes and helis, not drones...

VitaTello, a PS Vita app - advice appreciated!

Hi, this is VitaTello, a PS Vita app for controlling Tello. Right now it is only a proof of concept, with no way of receiving data from Tello. But you can already fly your Tello from one device, using only analog sticks, which is nice. Just be careful, as without battery and WiFi indicator it...

    Introducing... TelloTerm

@zantarob First, this is not my fork, the credit goes to Anty0. And yes, I can take photos with this fork, but they are saved only after you quit the program with "Q".
