    I’ve limited my initial flying sessions to a field adjacent to a dense neighborhood. With WiFi of varying strengths in every house, it can be a nightmare. I’m looking forward to some country flying soon.

    The more movement there is in the scene you’re recording, the faster your processor has to work encoding and decoding data to faithfully record it and pass it along the WiFi path. In some cases, slowing your pans and reducing ground speed may result is less “jitter” and fewer dropped frames.

    It may be boring to you, but I found an inherent beauty in the starkness. It appears - to my non-technical self - that nearby WiFi interference is a contributing cause of video glitches. I’ve found the more remote/rural my location, the better the video. Anyone else?

    Overheating message

    I have rec’d that message when, to the touch, the Tello is only slightly warm. Could it be sensing an overheated battery? Next time I get this I’ll quickly pull the battery and see.
