    I'm seeing prices on Ebay for anywhere between $65.99 to $159.00. Lots of choices. Since it doesn't have to work as a phone, I can go fairly cheap and leave it hooked up to my GameSir remote control. Such a deal! Thanks again for the recommendations.

    That's a thought. I'm not familiar with Android rigs..any recommendations? It doesn't have to be able to make calls, just for the wifi to work. A used Android something would do the trick. Ideas? What should I look for?

    I had no idea it was that difficult to live in the iOS universe (from a developer's standpoint). What a PITA. It's bad that Ryze won't even give you the courtesy of a reply. That sucks. Thanks for answering my post and clearing it up for me.

    However, unless things have changed, the TelloFPV app is only for Android users. Those of us with iOS are out of luck. And the author of TelloFPV has publicly said he's not writing anything for iOs (at least not yet).

    I found something at my hobby shop-it's an E-flite RFLA700UM "charger plug adapter EFL" which goes from the white plug to a pair of banana jacks so I can charge the battery. Now all I need is an adapter to go from the battery plug to the JST plug that's on the camera/VTX.

    It's an Eflite 2S 7.4V 280 mAh lipo, PN# EFL82802S30. It's got a very tiny white 3 conductor balance plug, but the plug's smaller than anything I currently have to mate up with.     Okay..got the camera and the lipo (this one came from Eflite/Horizon) and it looks like the combo will fit beautifully. Now all I have to do is figure out how to come up with a connector that will match up with the insanely tiny white balance connector on the lipo. None of my chargers will mate...

    I didn't time the flights (basically, hovering in place fighting the wind). If I had to guess, I'd say 6-7 minutes. But that gives me an excuse to charge them up again and try it tomorrow. When I do I'll report back.

    Thanks...by the way, just for fun, in spite of the fact that my Tello LED never stopped blinking while charging, I took the bird up for a couple of flights.
