    I believe that the new SDK only works with Tello EDU. Try emailing [email protected] to ask, she has provided helpful info in the past.

    I find that it will overheat if you turn it on but don't fly for a few minutes. Drones need to move around to circulate air and keep the battery cool.

    According to the press release for the new Tello EDU, you can access data from the video stream to program stuff like gesture control.
