    I have the same issue. Airplane mode is on, mobile data is off. Tello was reset, network deleted from my phone. Still stuck on "Obtaining Ip address" None of the above mentioned solutions worked. Will try with another phone/tablet -- that seems to the last resort for me

    You can put your repeater a bit higher for increased range, however your range is already greatly improved when using a repeater.     It's definitely possible todo this with a VITA since homebrew is available for it, when youre on the correct firmware version of the Vita Someone will probably have to develop a controller-app for it on the vita still. Which probably wont happen, ever

    First couple of pics

    Been practicing controlling the drone indoors the last couple of week, enough confidence is built up now to take it out to public.. Visited the beach, this morning. Forgot my repeater at home so had to play around in limited space on a very nice, sunny and non-windy day :-)
