Twilio recommends using ngrok to expose a local server to the internet.

You don't do that in the video -- you use another method.

Do you know if ngrok works like the twilio demo shows it does for your Tello server?

Yeah I think ngrok should work just fine. It changes the url everytime you connect though, I haven't used it in a few months. Maybe some new premium feature might be able to reserve you the same base url everytime (check the docs). But once connected, it's very stable.

Very cool!
Any ideas how to switch it on/off remotely?

Controlling your DJI Tello Drone with SMS messages is seriously mind-blowing. I can't wait to give it a try myself.
And thanks for the heads up on using ngrok to expose a local server to the internet. That's a great tip from Twilio, but it looks like Markwinap has his own method that works for him. Maybe he'll share more details on it in the future.
Oh, and speaking of tech, I recently came across this free UK number that you might find handy for your drone experiments. It's +44 800 917 6377. Give it a try and let me know how it works out for you.
