New to drones, Tello serving as my trainer drone (a birthday gift from the wife)

Any tips/advice for a newbie?

I already ordered the Xiaomi Wifi Extender (and a powerbank) and also bought the Volatello App.

Do I need to invest in those prop cages or other accessories? How about maneuvering I need to master?

Btw, will use this mostly for documentating our martial arts classes (I teach Jeet Kune Do (Ted Wong lineage) (Triad JKD)) and for the occasional travels/selfies w the wife.
