Installing Xiamoi repeater

For all of you who are having difficulty installing the Xiamoi wifi repeater, here's an excellent 15 minute video by the Gadget Inspector which will walk you through the rather tricky process. I just installed mine last night with his help.

My first attempt at buying a repeater was from a shonky ebay seller, It didn't turn up so demanded a refund. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks + to get the second one from another seller. Hope Android has a similar set up

I have had no success with the WiFi repeater. It will bind with my cell phone or my home router but will not be found by the tello. It bound the first time I used it then tried it with my tablet no luck since binding with the drone Any suggestions ?

I had to try multiple times - at first it didnt show any devices to add in the Mi Home app - I had to switch to another region and then back to mainland china

Most important I think is that you connect to the Tello when you configure the repeater at the right time
