not charging

Hi,
Just bought a Tello. Charged correctly to begin with, blue light flashing. Can not charge again. When first plug in green light flashes which then turns and stays red. Have tried turning off and on as battery is completely flat hard to tell if on or off but have pressed button. Am I missing something obvious. This is my first drone.

Make sure your micro usb charger sits in firmly in the tello. Not loosely

Welcome @yapa

• Do not power on Tello while charging
• Ensure battery is firmly inserted if charging from the Tello
• Do not charge immediately after flight, let the battery cool down
• Don't charge from PC/laptop
• Use external charger
• Ensure charger is minimum of 1A
• Ensure USB connectors are firmly inserted
• Ensure USB cable is not too long (over 10'). Voltage drops over distance.
• Try a different USB cable (preferably with a larger wire gauge)
• Try a different battery (if available)
• Reset Tello
