OTG Controller Disconnects After Exactly 1 Minute

I bought a Parrot Flypad controller to hook up to my Android phone using an OTG cable and a USB cable.

The phone sees the controller and it works fine ... for 1 minute.

Then the sticks stops responding.

Only way to get it working again is to either unplug and re-plug the USB cable or change the USB mode in the Android drop-down menu (ex. from power to file transfer).

Odd that it's exactly 1 minute.

Tried 2 different controllers, 3 different phones, 2 different OTG cables and many USB cables. Results always the same.

Any thoughts?

Which app are you using? I fly aTelloPilot using a Flypad via BT. I couldnt get it to link via otg. The Flypwd is a excellent controller as it was intended from the get go to fly with, not a game controller.
i have a T1d which I dont like and w Ps3 which is ok. Stsy with the Flylad if at all possible..

I was using an app called FPV Freerider FREE, using the calibration section and an app called Gamepad Tester.
