Photo compression very high

Hello all, I just bought a Tello and I am very impressed how stable it flighs and how easy to control it is.
There is only one thing, that is a slight delusion: The images are too stronly compressed. They have 2592 x 1936 pixel, but only around 1 MB of file size! I set the "Photo Quality" to "High", but it doesn´t change the quality of the pictures. Also I tried to increase the "Bit Rate" (but maybe this is needed only for videos?), but the quality remained the same. Is there anything I can do to improve the quality?

Use at better light.

In good light the still photos are excellent for the size / weight / price tag. For significantly better photos you have to spend 3-4x the money on a drone that is 3-4x the weight of a Tello.

Something like the Mini. But that is a different thing entirely (both good and bad).

Thanks for your usefull answer, volate!Io. A part from that: I bought your software Tello FPV, very nice! Maybe the fotos are a bit better with this software.
