Once I'd decided to return for credit the GameVice controller for my iPad, I also decided to try a new technique for operating the on-screen joy sticks on my LG V10 Android SmartPhone; namely, using a stylus.
I discovered that, by holding the phone firmly with my left hand and the stylus with my right, I was able to traverse very small distances between the center and the periphery of the sticks.
In other words, I felt that I had control of the movements of the aircraft that was at least as precise as when I'd used the controller on the tablet. This was an important discovery because there is plenty of room in the Tello's case (see photo) for a stylus but none for a controller.
