Hey guys....

I recently encountered a frustrating issue with my Tello drone, and I was hoping someone here might have experienced something similar or has any suggestions on how to fix it.

I have had my Tello for a few months now, and it’s been working flawlessly up until this week. Suddenly, whenever I try to connect the drone to my phone, I keep getting an error message saying, “Unable to connect to Wi-Fi.” I’ve tried everything I can think of to troubleshoot it – resetting both the drone and my phone, ensuring my phone’s Wi-Fi is turned on and not connected to any other networks, and even trying a different device (another phone), but the issue persists.

A few things to note:
  1. I’m using the latest version of the Tello app (double-checked that it’s up to date).
  2. The drone’s battery is fully charged, so I don’t think it’s a power issue.
  3. I’m in a clear, open area with no interference, so I don’t believe it’s related to signal obstruction.
I also check this: https://tellopilots.com/threads/tello-will-not-re-establish-wireless-connectionsalesforce-dev but I have not found any solution. Could anyone guide me about this? Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any insights into what might be causing the Wi-Fi connection error? I’d really appreciate any advice, as I’m eager to get my drone flying again.

Thanks in advance!

Maybe some OS update broke the Ryze app. Is that Android or Iphone?

If its Android just try the free TelloFpv demo and see if that works for you.

I have the exact same issue, I have no problem connecting to the drone with my MacBook even having my own C++ and python scripts run on it but my iPhone won't work. I have made sure cellular data is off along with no bluetooth also with bluetooth but it won't establish connection. I can connect to the "wifi" but it says no internet connection (which is obvious) but it clearly isn't communicating via IP address and port otherwise after logging into Tello's wifi it would establish connect. This is were I get to hating apple for having ridiculous security measures.
