I have never been able to sign on to my extender because I do not have a password. Need help. Using MI home

Thank you so much. No one had mention this step and it is critical. Works like a charm once I put the password in.
Setting up the Mi the first time is a mess. But once you do, it works flawlessly from then on. Don't use it with anything else, though, or you'll have to set it up again. This is the best setup instruction video I have seen. Watch it using your pause button and take notes.
