Dead and Repaired Tello from Msia

One of the motor is dead and already purchased a set of spares from the net

Luckily during auto landing, it hovered a few cm above the water and wouldn't land on it.

Warranty does not cover accidents. If that Tello is his son's, then most likely than not, it suffer a crash.

Yeah, the motor failed after a week the drone crashed landed from 20ft

Replacement motors arrived and hopefully I can fix it back for my kid

Remove faulty motor

Attached new motor

Connect both wires as close as possible without much slack

Trim the extra wires away

tucked in the wire neatly without any soldering

repeat the same steps for the other wire, but make sure both wires are tucked at different locations and there is no contact

Try your best to tucked the exposed wire underneath its own unexposed wire

the wire is nicely concealed. Both wires were connected without any soldering done

Voila! Repair is done! Have fun guys. It's only took me 30mins

Thanks for the write up and pics. Good for future reference. Perhaps a small dab of silicone on the exposed wires to conceal from the elements.
