It's interesting how the focal point and field of view is totally different between the two cameras. Also, I've never been a big fan of the downward angle of the tello camera - this is so camera drone and not FPV - irritates the @#$% outta me. In fast mode the camera is really crap with the extra downward angle making it impossible to see where you're going if your not a minimum of 15m in the air. MY CF frame mod will see to that!

Also I think he is using the DVR of the runcam to get such good video quality.

It's a work in progress though. The first CF frame I bought was to small, waiting for the Ebay gods to delivery me another one a bit larger - then I'll post some udpates in that thread.

At low altitude the Tello camera sucks, but after 10m, you want your camera angled, for better shots.

What about a 3d printed frame? Quite happy to put together a version if you have any thoughts, have lots of time on my hands.

Could be nice a support similar to the Lego ones with stipes to fix the camera.
Do you know how much heavy can carry Tello?

Creating a new top cover with the support built into it. Not sure of exact weight it can carry, sure will be able to work it out. Thinking about larger battery also.
