    Be careful, the heatsinks on the bottom of the Tello must be kept free so that the prop-wash can cool them otherwise you will get overheating warnings and the Tello may shut down just when you don't want it.

    I don't know about iOS but if you are trying at home once it has failed check if the phone has reconnected to your normal WiFi. There may an "auto reconnect" for the access point setting that needs disabling.

    Not sure about a pattern. My Tello serial is 0TQZH3... I have flown it a few times indoors and it seems fine, although the room I flew it in does have 2 x 150W tungsten suspended bulbs in translucent shades so is (as intended) probably brighter than many people's rooms.

    I don't think there is anything wrong if it works outside in daylight. Tello relies on a down pointing camera to stabilise itself and recent Tellos seem less sensitive in low light than earlier ones, and so don't perform as well inside in dim lighting conditions. EDIT: It also needs a strong...

    Don't confuse the issue. Bluetooth is NOT needed in this situation. The Tello does NOT use Bluetooth. Bluetooth is only used to connect some controllers to the controlling device.

    I'm not very familiar with the Tello SDK but looking at tello.py I think you need to invoke mydrone.connect() to switch it into SDK command mode before sending any commands.

    In what way does it say not connected? Are you confusing the lack of an Internet connection with the WiFi connection to the Tello. The Tello acts as an Access Point but it hasn't got an Internet connection and so the computer will accurately report this when connected to the Tello. If the...

    That seems to be the root of the problem to me. The Tello should behave like any other unsecured Access Point, if it says it's not connected it probably isn't. I assume that you are using a desktop computer of some sort. Does it have any other live network connection, like a cable? Can you...

    What motors are CW and CCW

    The wire colours of the motors tell you the rotation. What the colours mean is part of the motor specification which the seller should be able to tell you. For the original motors Black/Blue is Clockwise and Blue/White is Anti-Clockwise.
