    That’s BS...with what you’ve been through I’d tell them to send a new one that works along with a postpaid return ship label for the defective one. I had (maybe still have) the EIS problem switching between vids & pics but thought I read that it had been fixed in new fw....haven’t had a chance...

    Very nice pix, accurate colors & crisp image from the Tello.... video from Tello not too bad either (with WiFi repeater and hard connected controller), just wish they would’ve placed a $10 sd card reader on it. For $100 though can’t complain too much.....Tello2? ;)

    Using a WiFi extender certainly helps but without the option of recording to an sd card there WILL be some dropped frames recording over wifi.     Also, make sure the Tello battery is full. It’s probably shutting down before it reaches 100%, happened to me several times.

    Video and photo files are recorded and stored on your mobile device so there’s really no use connecting Tello to computer as there are no media files there to view or transfer. Shame that they didn’t incorporate a $5 mini card reader:(

    You’ve probably not tried using a Bluetooth controller as the bt connection is what’s causing the terrible video stutter, has nothing to do with it being a toy, the 720p video is smooth using iOS or android app for control as well as the Gamevice controller (direct connection) on iOS.     What firmware are you on? I didn’t get my Nimbus controller until after updating to 01.03.18.03 fw, I’ve heard that the bt connection is/was much better with original fw which if so is good news as Rize should be able to fix what they screwed up....hopefully.
