    We have had a windy week in Florida. Tello is great fun to practice piloting skills indoors when the weather is nasty. I wonder how many Tello are sitting underneath Christmas trees around the world right now? Welcome to the "club"

    Flew Tello to 100 feet altitude and got great pictures. Used alt limit software to set 100 ft limit.

    I didn't know that was possible. Where do you get that software? Is it compatible with iPhone?

    Hardly any apps work on the original iPhone 2G because it can only run very early versions of iOS. New apps require more recent versions of iOS to function. I only used the 2G in the photo because I can't take a picture of my iPhone X while it's actually in the controller. Lol

    I agree with your observations. Welcome to the forum I think almost every Mavic or Phantom owner would appreciate a Tello for indoors or quick fun flight. Great way to introduce kids to the hobby as well

    Bringing electronic from relatively warm and humid environment (indoors) to a relatively cold and dry environment (outdoors) can cause condensation to develop on surface (camera lens) and especially internal chambers that house components. As the aircraft heats up this should evaporate. But...

    You have a keen eye but that is not a 3G iPhone. It's my 11 year old original iPhone 2G. It still charges and works on WiFi. No SIM card tho

    Batteries hold less charge and discharge quicker when cold so much shorter flight time. Keep batteries warm inside coat pocket until ready to fly. Not harmful in the long run since cold exposure so brief
