    it doesnt have active track type tech in it, so this is likely not possible, it only has sensors pointed down, so it has no way of avoiding obstacles... Again, 100 dollars, not a Mavic or Phantom...

    Sensor data? orientation? signal strength? battery strength??? what? your sending commands to the drone to complete actions, not having it make intelligent transit decisions based on its own perception of feedback data?? other than the command to "take picture" and maybe a flight mode like up...

    With scratch, you can take off, land, fly up, down, left, right, forward, backward, rotate, flip and set a speed. Other than take a photo, what else would you want to do?

    my issue is that when I start up the app it says "there is an update" when I click update it just says "Latest firmware". so its not downloading the firmware update.

    just buy three of them! LOL but in all seriousness, you are absolutely correct. when it has a good "lock" on the ground it stays planted really well, even in wind, but when it loses that lock because its dark, or whatever, it likes to dance.

    thanks, I chatted with Ryze tech support this morning, and they confirmed that this is a known issue. They described it exactly as I see it which is other than take off and landing, the console responds with "ok" that its sent the command and the drone is responding that it has completed it so...

    So im by no means a IT type guy, just that disclaimer. But I downloaded Scratch, and followed the youtube videos, and used one of my tellos strictly for programming flights, because it seems fun. I can get the drone to take off, and land, thats about it, so I know its connected and accepting...

    same. Its becuase its streaming it back to the phone. Its fighting for bandwidth with the controls. But the electronic stabilization works really well. attached is a screen grab from a video I did just flying around the garage yesterday. you can see the pixilation, it comes and goes.
