    Tello goes to right when connected to gamesir.

    My Tello has been packed away most of the winter due to weather. I charged everything up changed props and took her for a spin. When I'm using my phone as the controller I have no problems. As soon as I try to fly it using the gamesir it just flys right and won't stop. Any suggestions?

    As per the US FAA anytime you get paid for any of your pictures no matter the size and weight of the drone you need the drone license. If you give away the picture you don't need it. Only if you get paid. Also you are not allowed to fly over people.

    Yep I used the Xiaomi. It's only around 75 feet up for the one, there was a breeze going and the VPS was acting up due to the fading daylight.

    My current setup

    It's a xiaomi 2 repeater on a gopro tripod. The battery pack is one that I got at Five below and is attached with adhesive to a screw plate and attached to the tripod. It works pretty well.

    Sorry for the choppy video my repeater was on the other side of the house. That and it was on fast mode due to some wind.

    Dark picture

    Does anyone else have your pictures coming in dark? Especially since the last Tello FPV update? This was taken around noon on a sunny day. I love the app and it's new options.

    I am trying to figure out what is the best placement for the wifi repeater. It will run off of my phones USB. Is it best there or on a battery between the phone and the tello?

    I was wondering if anyone has successfully swapped over to brushless. If so how did you do it and how much did it cost? I'm interested in converting if it is relatively inexpensive and easy to do.
