    In my experience with replacement of x2 motors on a tello. The blue and black wires on the motor is ccw motors ...the white and black wires on the motor are cw motors...that is how they are identified on original motors and the ones that i purchased on line from RCGeek. good luck

    Flying drone like I stole it

    I find that a fly my drone outside always in sport mode using tellofpv app. I need to use sport mode as it responds better with whatever wind. I find myself flying the drone like it is a stolen exotic car in the air. Maximum speed and the stopping as fast as I can, taking off spinning around...

    i have taken the drone apart and connections were good..i had never taken the wires off the board as I spliced into the existing and soldered the wires to the new wires. I tried another motor and still the same...as soon as i install the battery the motor starts spinning without even using power...

    When replacing 1 bad motor, is there any concerns with aftermarket motors being heavier in weight or performance where drone does not keep stable due to differences in specs of replacement parts?

    Thanks flight815 that is very helpful and exactly the info I was hoping to hear. I have been new to the drone flying and have crashed quite a bit. I am definitely getting better and started to use the tellofpv app as well which seems to keep the drone more stable

    Looks like I need to replace a motor on my new tello drone after 1 week of lots of fun use...do I need to solder in this task...the motor still works but does not rotate freely when not running...when I try to launch the drone it just rolls over...any advice or good place to purchase motor would...
