    Has someone tried to use a Xiaomi 2 repeater not only for the Tello but also for another drone or device? I have a WIFI camera and would like to extend the range but I remember that the setup took some time and effort. Has someone tried extending different devices? Is a new setup every time...

    A Samsung A6 would also do a good job. Tello, Tals, and Drone Blocks are all on Google Play. What third party apps do you wish to install?

    Tello is turning off after one minute of no movement

    It was just a test to see if the Tello could be used for observations (fly somewhere, watch and record silently as long as possible) and then start and fly away again. With the heat issue, it seems the Tello is not suitable for such tasks.

    Thank you ZWActual, You are right. On top of a fan, it keeps going much longer. It just took 9 minutes and 46 seconds video.

    After one minute of no movement, the Tello is turning off by itself. Then it needs to be manually turned on again and the WIFI, app, and controller needs to connect. Is there some way to extend that time? Maybe with some command which is not executed as a movement? Can another app (Blocks?)...

    I have not noticed any video lag with the T1d yet (Blue Tooth connection). However, it would be nice if the controller could be used for other applications too. It seems it works only with the Tello App, or?
