    This looks interesting... Xiaomi MiTu Very similar specs to the Tello, but 4GB onboard storage. Decent pricing too... Xiaomi MITU WIFI FPV RC Drone with HD Camera 720P Multi-machine Infrared Battle BNF I've ordered one to see how it compares! P

    Tello Android 1.2.7.0 is now out in the Play Store. Changelog? 'Fix bugs.'. Typically today is the one day I don't have my Tello with me to test! P

    I had to try it out of curiosity, my Spark is quite fun as the light fades. I expected visual positioning not to work, but it wouldn't even hold altitude, effectively falling out of the sky. Bit scary! P

    Had a weird issue when I went to use the Tello today, the WiFi SSID wasn't showing (which I'd customised), I only saw a 'Marvell AP' connection. A bit of Googling showed that if I turned the drone on and held down power for 5 seconds it would factory reset, which it did, and I could use it...

    I just installed Android 1.2.6.1 from Tello First thoughts... Video is now in colour properly on my P20 Pro, hurrah! Battery is now an icon and not percentage, wtf? Subjectively video seems less likely to frame loss, bit hard to prove though obviously Settings changes STILL lost on app...

    Very easy to set up. Use the Mi Home app with region set to China. Not tried fast mode video yet, need to take it somewhere more interesting than the back garden. ? P

    I'm trying out this rather different setup to see if it improves the video stutter on the Tello. Razer Phone (my spare phone that I use for Tello) plus a USB C to A adaptor and a Xiaomi Mi WiFi Extender 2. I'll post how it goes! P
