    I used the Android version of TALS to set my Tello to 30 m. App works perfect. However, Tello VPS performance is marginal at 30m.     Above 30m?

    There are two height limits: out of the box, Tello is limited to 10m. This limit can be increased up to 30m by using TALS (available for Android and iOS). The 30m limit seems to be fix in Tello firmware and I have not yet seen a way to increase it. IMHO, it would not make too much sense anyway...

    About 100m away and 30m high resulted in wifi signal strenght down to 10%. I did not dare to go any further. That was in an area without any other wifi sources. I've never used an extender, so I don't have any range data for that.

    Entering fast mode (long press HS field, turns from green to red) also increases RTH speed. Fully agree on the dropped frames, so much better than the official app.

    According to my tests, there is a marginal increase in flight time. In addition, the drone is a little bit less noisy without the guards. Nevertheless, I keep mine on for protection. These props are darn hard to find when they get off...

    Hmm, strange. I had a couple of crashes with the battery popping out and it did not loose my height limit setting...
