    Won't have my t1d till wednesday, I hope I can figure it out, i don't like flying with a phone, a wifi extender works great at smothing out video, plus it now flys farther than I need it to anyway, works well with all of my wifi drones too

    Overheating at rest

    I have a friend that uses a small desk fan that points vertically, just sets the Tello on it for a few minuites, works fine. think i've got one somewhere, they all get warm(hot) sitting still that I have seen.

    It's available from other venders, they just get it from DJI & add $15.00 shipping. I agree Amazon will probably have it in a few days or wks., right now the T1d is a DJI exclusive.And I hope I can root it to other quads I have. I like to fly, I'm not Spielberg.

    DJI has the Gamesir T1d for Android , $29.00 plus shipping, I'll probably get it in 3 or 4 wks.

    DJI says ships in 10 to 15 days, I ordered mine this morning so that's just 3 days after it became available.

    The T1d is necessary for a Android phone connection, I hate flying any quads with virtual joysticks, may just be me but I can't wait for this to arrive.

    Anyone find charging hubs or batteries?

    Amazon shows aftermarket batteries for the Tello starting at $24.99 on up from several different vendors, no Prime deliveries though, so you may have one from China in 3 or 4 wks., like other quad parts I have ordered, I suggest buyer beware because I have no knowledge of the quality.
