Love it! Just waiting for all the parts to come in the mail. Then I will build it. How did you get the repeater open? I don't see a seal.

No seal A bit of brute force needed as no screws presented. I used a knife and a screwdriver for pulling apart both plastic case halves. Good luck !

Should I connect the repeater on board the Tello 1st before I disassemble and modify or wait till after shrink wrap is done?

Whatever you want. I build mod first, then configure, but you can change order. Good luck !

What size shrink tubing did you use?

I bought a little piece at my local electronics store. I think it was about 5 centimeters witdh. I suppose you can use other sizes, take into account shrink tubing narrows max 1/2 size after heat is applied.
