Another Hello from Malaysia!

My excitement grew more and more as the pieces of gear made their way in the mail and it’s finally complete today.

I’m a network engineer that finally took the leap into drone piloting as a respite from work. Interested to see where this leads to. I should be practicing python more and seems like this drone is programmable but I couldn’t plonk down the extra cash for a Tello EDU so here we are.

I just took a few test flights and noticed the battery gets hot quite easily even with it being idle. Could it be because of a defect or just the warm southeast asia climate?

Thank you. I found my answer already from the forum (as expected). Turns out it’s normal for it to accumulate heat if not flying but activated.
