In theory it should work. @raulvolador is getting a wifi extender that has 2 antennas, but it's a bit different from the one in your link.

People prefer the Xiaomi because it's inexpensive and it just works. There are others that have gone with the Meross and it works for them as well. So the one in your link should also do the job. Just make sure it can run in 2.4Ghz frequency and turn off the 5.8Ghz if it has it.
It should be only 2,4ghz... I'm little bit afraid for configuration.... I think i leave the try
