Ok, I've been thinking.
When we are in fast mode, the video feed is almost imunusable because the Tello angles so far down to go forward.

So, my theory is thus..
Build an optical gimbal using two mirrors, one pointing 45° down, the second 45° forward (think an upside down periscope)

But, have the bottom mirror able to pivot so that it is always at 45° to the horizon (would probably have to be weighted)
Excuse the ****** sketch, im going to have a play about in technic Lego first, then my cousin with a 3d printer may be getting a call.

Would/could it work?Screenshot_20180612-194553_Sketch.jpg

I think it worth a try, at least You could achieve some level of optical image stabilization, lol

The low tilt from the camera is known for every pilot who flies fast mode. Give it a try, i think it’ll help. Though, in my videos i try to manage the downward tilt by accelerating less hard (pull the forward throttle in slow motion) with a bit of practise you can fly faster and neutralize the downward camera position a bit.
