Gamesir T1 Vs T1S

As per Gamesir document below is the only difference between the two.
"it's identical to the T1s except that it does not include the 2.4GHz Wireless adapter."

Question: Does anyone here able to connect T1 via OTG to phone? (not T1S) . I am trying to connect it to Xiaomi RN5, Samsung S6 Edge without any success. So just confirming if controller is compatible before I go for further troubleshooting.

I use the cheapest Bluetooth game controller Amazon had, works fine with the TelloFPV app never had any issues.
controller came in about $20

I can confirm TelloFPV can use Gamesir T1 wired USB OTG connected. I succesfully usedit with Samsung S3 mini and Samsung A40 smartphone.

But I suffered disconnection isues, solved using this start-up secuence:

Gamesir T1 controller sleep mode (SOLVED)

I have this controller too, but i was unable to use it on otg mode. I'm using Vivo v11 pro. When connected it was not detected but the phone is charging the controller. Any advice?
