I'm new here and never flown any drone before.

Tried flying twice and planned to do another 2 more flight as I'm planning to bring tello to maldive trip hoping to take some shots of the resort and maybe selfie, any advise on flying over water? I've seen a few footage that tello don't perform well over water and strong wind.

That's right. Tello is so light that it will be blown away by a strong wind.

I've had the Tello up in sport mode and 10mph winds. It will fly o.k. (does a pretty good job for such a light weight drone) but it will be a challenge getting good pictures or video as the drone is trying to fight the wind.
