Just bought a Tello for my kids (and potentially me). Never had a drone before, but have some tech/maker background and looking forward to not just flying it, but the tech side, and perhaps using the Scratch capability. Bought it with the 'boost' pack for batteries, and using an old Sony Android phone as a controller, though I do have the Gamesir T1d.

I will recommend getting a MI wifi extender if using an cheap android phone as I tried with a Samsung galaxy A8 the range will drop out if using the Tello app to control

It will dropout at about 10 metres away
