Hello from Michigan

Just bought an Iron Man Tello and some accessories. Hoping to have some fun and learn a lot about drones before I look at buying a higher end DJI. Figured better to spend a few hundred to see if I even like it before I spend a couple thousand. Hoping help from this group can take some of the initial pain out of getting started.

So far I bought:
Iron Man Tello
Two extra batteries
A three battery charger
GameSir td1 controller
Carrying case

My phone is a iPhone 6s iOS 13.2.3. I wrapped all this up and will open them on Christmas. Any ideas of how best to prepare or things to do first are appreciated.
