I just acquired a new Tello and a new Spark; my first drones. Now, I’m trying to figure out what to do with ‘em! There’s much to learn and the crappy weather isn’t helping. So, I decided to join the forum, while I practice inside with the Tello, until I can get outside (in the warm sun!) and fly them both.

First start by flying the Tello. You will crash it no matter what, but it will help you polish your skills for when you fly your Spark.

I hear you on the #&$(@$( weather outside. Indoors is the only place... so, as Ansia says, fly the tello indoors... keep the prop guards on. I did that enough times that I've since flown the spark indoors a couple of times, and didn't hit anything (got them both in December).

I would suggest against flying the Spark inside. Those little fudgers can really do harm if they hit someone. Fly your Tello inside and your Spark outside.

If this thread continues as a LE bash as I have read it all in PP and in this I think he asked for it .
