New Pilot troubles from CA

Hi, I got my brand new Tello and I am having trouble to get Tello take off.

I am able to turn on, connect to Tello WiFi. I see a yellow blinking LED at this point.

I am trying to open the Ryze Android app on Android 10 Pixel 2 phone and the app keeps crashing

Tried to operate the drone from python script running on Mac, I get the battery level and drone details, but the motors/rotors wont start turning for a take off command.

How are new pilots dealing with Tello? Is there an initial setup or registraion process for Tello?

Seems the stock Ryze Tello app is currently not optimized/updated under Android 10 at the moment (running Pixel XL as well).

Suggest you try TelloFPV demo/full versions in the Play Store, as this app is way more feature rich than what the stock app has to offer.

+1 Tellofpv is light years ahead of OEM Tello app
