Have just seen a YT vid where the standard Tello propellers have been replaced with 3 bladed Q90 King Kong props. Didn't seem to affect the performance, except may be some increase in motor temperature, but it was noticeably quieter; flight time was about what I get (well under 13 mins with prop guards on). Personally I would trade off noise for shorter flight time, and plan to try these Q90 3 bladers. Bookworm

Quieter props sounds good but the motors running hotter doesn't. To me the Tello is pretty quiet outside already. I never fly it indoors, it freaks out my Chihuahua too much.
If you run much lower RPMs you need more current (heat at the brushes). If you run much faster RPMs you get more friction (heat at the bearings ). Either way you change the operating point within the motor characteristic.
To be on the save side you need to measure motor temperature after flight and RPMs at hover for each type of props. If both values are close to the ryze props you found a prop with a matching characteristic.
