red and green in "Tello" app when moving joystick

Hi...Sorry new to this but can't figure out when I move the virtual joystick in the Android app sometimes there is green on outside of circle and other times it is red. What does the red mean? I am having some issues flying certain directions and I am wondering if this red means something when it goes green to red.

Hi. Thank you for reply. I tried that and I get 4 pages of results and none of them apply to the colors around the virtual joystick in the tello app from what I can see. They all refer to leds.
