Hi all,
I plan to use an app called regard3d that allow to build 3d model from pictures (that's called photogrammetry)...
the app needs camera information to work well...
- Sensor width in mm
do you know this specs ?
maybe it can be found if anybody know the original brand of the sensor ...

For example :

For an iphone 6 plus are :
- Sensor width 4.89 mm
(found there : openMVG/CameraSensorSizeDatabase)

For a OnePlus 5 that has a Sony IMX 398 sensor
- Sensor width 6.4 mm

which value for a tello ?

ask ryze engineers. Contact their support.

EXIF data from Tello photos report focal length of 2mm and 35mm-equivalent focal length of 25mm. As the photos have 4:3 proportions, rough calculations give about 2.77mm sensor width. BUT:
  • the lenghts are rounded (equivalent should be expressed in integer mm, and while real focal length, per exif specs, should be a rational number, every one I saw so far was given with 1mm precision also), so with values so small we deal with significant error
  • it would be not standard size, I think, and non-standard means costly, unlikely for drone with so low price tag.
So, I would not take these calculations seriously.

While I'm not into photogrammetry (so I may miss something obvious), wouldn't just field of vision be enough? And that can be measured with great ease and accuracy...

Hi,
Thanks all for your suggestions, i will test and investigate, but this week... The weather is not cool
