Tello Max VPS Height?

Is there a max altitude for the VPS?

For example, in 20 meters height the VPS shuts off? Or no?

I had mine up 30m and it was quite stable. I'm sure the VPS was taking care of that.

Only times I've had problems with VPS were
* too weak light - it needs quite a bit
* flying over very low contrast surface - new fallen snow

I concur...and I'd like to add from my experience, hovering over vegetation that is moving in the breeze.

Vps depends on high contrast surface so make sure you have good light. Water, green fields, moving grass, water, etc are all bad for precision and sometimes will cause vps to switch off.
Anyway 30m is plenty for such a tiny drone.
