Wifi ping other devices

Does anyone know if it's possible to ping another laptop when it's connected to the same DJI tello network?
I am talking about an regular DJI Tello, not EDU.

risk of disconnect, and not being able to quickly re-connect - either because the extender is inherently slow to reconnect, or because you fell over the powerbank and it takes time to re-boot, or ...

Overall the connection becomes more fragile - other than that no issues

With a second WAN adapter this may work.
Use an USB WAN adapter to connect to your tello and the built in on to connect to your local LAN/WAN. What is not possible is to connect to tello from the second laptop. I never tried this, may work with the appropriate route configured in your local LAN.
