Any difference on how it flies on the wind without the prop guards?

if you have tried it?

just would assume there is slightly less for wind to take on without them.

getting below 4ms/s where its flyable at winter seems impossible..

the effect might be opposite with less mass, what do i know?

The difference is amazing. The prop guards work as a sail, and make the Tello work harder than it should. If you remove then, it will fly smoother and better. The wind is evil!

Finally found a thread that discusses prop guards vs wind.

This has been puzzling me for a while with the thought that prop guards will make it harder for propellers to fight wind.

Only time my guards are on is flying inside...any other time they’re off..
