Can the regular Tello be used like an EDU?

Hi,

I have an EDU and it is a lot of fun. I am thinking of getting a couple more but I dont need the mission pads etc..... Can I save $30 and get a regular Tello and use/program it like an EDU?

Well darn. I am a teacher run an after school robotics and coding club, I was going to buy a few of these for the students to use. Since I will be using my own money I was hoping to save a bit on each one.

Basic SDK stuff like "Takeoff turn left, fly forward, land" also works on the normal tello.
AFAIK you just can't do swarms and you can't position relative to mission pads or other visual marks (unless you use the front cam and implement the computer vision yourself). There may be a few more things.
