Make sure you have each and every source of RF noise switched off. Most prominent issues are with bluetooth devices, especially those near Tello or the phone. Also it helps to reduce video bitrate.
The more I look into whats happening in the video stream the more I wonder why Ryze decided to bundle this drone with a BT controller.
