It’s an OTG cable, which lets the Tello output DC volts, into that I have a purple USB LED light.

Not now, I ordered 3 of those leads. That one is now cut open, measured 5.0V DC at all sorts of Tello battery levels.

I’ll knock up a DC circuit with 4 LEDs in it and 1 current limiting resistor then see how to make them look pretty.

Sure that would be great. The lead looks like the the one used to connect the phantom controller up for updates.
