Folding props possible?

Love how compact the Tello is, but imagine how small a carry case could be without prop guards on and with folding props.

Is this feasible?

Manual, p.13: "Only use original propellers."

P.S. And be sure to match the correct propellers with the correct landing gear (p.12).

Sure, whether it's advised or not, wonder if it's possible. I can understand Ryze only recommending original gear and can't imagine them making them!

Shape of those is, er, 'interesting', but surely only a matter of time before someone commercialises those!

I just like the sound it makes flying LOL I bet it’s not as good in the wind with those though.
 
Oh yeah, that definitely makes it sound like a swarm of angry bees! ?
 
My mind says more sound more profile drag. Increased effort to spin them.
If that makes sense, then less lift less speed...would be interesting to see if I got it right.
Love the ingenuity of them, well done.
