I'm a drone newbie so I got the Tello to practice and get into flying drones. And wow is it amazing. I've had so much fun getting used to the drone, testing all the video and photo features as well as going as high as possible (nearly losing it with the drone). But so far the experience has been positive and very enjoyable.
I can't wait to browse the forum and learn from all the fellow Tello pilot.

Both are of course limited by the wifi link quality. If you go too far or high for your wifi link you loose contact and the drone will try to hover in place and land. Or it may be gone ...

there is 30m height limit but no hard distance limit, practical distance limit without wifi extender is 50-100m. With extender it depends. Can be 300m with a $10 extender or 3000m of you get pro equipment. But the risks of loosing tello are huge so it's only for thise looking for the thrill.
